Thank you for visiting and welcome to the world of Madeleine & Co! Let’s start from the beginning. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Corinne Engel Ouelhadj, and I currently reside in the beautiful sunny city of Miami Beach, Florida, where the headquarters of my company, Madeleine & Co, is located.

Born and raised in Lyon, a city globally renowned as the capital of French gastronomy, I was destined to master the culinary arts. From the age of ten, I began taking charge in the kitchen by helping my mother, who was always proud to prepare our meals from scratch using local and high-quality products. The love for cooking runs deep in my family; when I wasn’t helping my mother, I spent time with my grandfather, who taught me about the fruits and vegetables from his garden and how to cook them. I have always been obsessed with finding the best products to cook.

At the age of 20, I opened my first restaurant in Paris. My passion had become my profession! After spending a few years focusing on my family (I am the proud mother of a beautiful daughter and two wonderful sons!), I returned to my passion. This time, I opened my own coffee shop near Paris, France. This experience was probably one of the most enriching of my life so far, as I learned everything there was to know about coffees and teas from around the world, and how to pair them to create an unforgettable and satisfying experience for all our senses, with, of course, a wide range of refined pastries.

As we wrote a new chapter in our lives, my family moved to Miami, Floridain in the United States in 2008. However, my passion and love for cooking and pastry have never been more vital. Graduating in pastry arts, I created Madeleine & Co. In the following years, I focused on mastering the art of jams, candies, and fruit pastes. Yum! After teaching alongside Jean Paul Gaucher at the prestigious school for professionals by Alain Ducasse in France, I participated in the World Jam Championship in 2019, where I finished as the vice-world champion. I have since been awarded multiple competitions and recognized as a Maître Confiturière. My love for sophisticated products has led me to organize masterclasses to spread my knowledge and passion worldwide. I work only with seasonal fruits, selecting the highest quality for my jams. Each fruit receives special care during peeling, and each variety is cut differently for optimal results.

All this combined brings us here! Madeleine & Co. is the result of my life's journey; my commitment to sharing my love and passion for culinary delights. Using only highly selected ingredients, I am proud to offer a final product with the refinement of French gastronomy, bringing you the quality that only freshness and homemade can offer.
